Governance

The structure exists to remove a single conflict: the person under performance pressure never sets, moves or waives the limits.

Separation of roles

Principal

Runs oversight

  • Mandates and assesses each trader
  • Sets the limits of every mandate
  • Holds the authority to flatten any position
Trader

Runs the mandate

  • Trades the firm's own capital within the mandate
  • Never sets, moves or waives the limits
  • Bound by a mandatory reporting duty

Limits are set outside the seat that feels the pressure of results.

Risk control

Mechanical limits per mandate, aggregation at firm level, and an emergency procedure above both, which will be tested before trading starts. Incidents and near-incidents are registered and reviewed.

Documented decisions

Fundamental decisions are logged with date, alternatives considered and reasoning. Assessment files form an integral part of our due-diligence documentation.

Continuity

Outage scenarios are written out and will be rehearsed annually. A deputy arrangement covering the principal himself will be in place before trading starts.
